The Half Moon is adjacent to the Market Place, has two hand pumps of which one is Draught Bass. Next door is the famous Porke Pie Shop Dickenson & Morris

The White Lion Hotel situated on Nottingham Street close to the Market.
Does not serve real ale and has loud music Friday and Saturday nights

The Generous Briton serves one Real Ale Jennings Cumberland but has other jennings, located on King Street.
